Terms of Service
The agreement between you and ASOsight when you use the service. Plain wording, and it matches what the product does.

1. The service
ASOsight is App Store market intelligence. It shows store data observed from public App Store pages, data returned by Apple's own APIs, modeled estimates, and research reports that cite their sources.
Every number carries its origin: Observed, Apple, Estimated or Inferred. Estimates are always presented as a range with a confidence level and are never presented as fact. Nothing in the product is financial, legal or investment advice, and you remain responsible for decisions you make with it.
ASOsight is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. App Store and App Store Connect are trademarks of Apple Inc.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has access.
An account belongs to an organisation. If you invite team members, you are responsible for what they do under your organisation, and you decide who has access.
You must be at least 18 years old, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use the service if sanctions or export controls prohibit it.
3. Plans, credits and access
Plans and their prices are published on the pricing page. Free is available without payment details. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
Access is granted immediately after a successful payment — there is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for. If a purchase does not unlock what it should, write to [email protected] and we will fix it or refund it.
Research credits are included with the Research and Pro plans and are consumed once per completed research job. If a job fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. Monthly credits do not roll over to the next period; yearly plans receive their credit allowance every month of the term.
You can upgrade at any time. An upgrade is prorated: you receive credit for the unused part of your current period and pay the difference for the new plan, and any credit difference is granted once.
4. Payments and tax
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., which acts as merchant of record. Paddle handles the checkout, issues your invoice and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT. ASOsight never sees or stores your card details.
Your statement will show Paddle as the seller for the transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars; your bank may apply its own conversion.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Credits & plan inside your account; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which gives you 14 days from a payment to ask for your money back.
6. Your App Store Connect key
If you connect an App Store Connect key, you allow ASOsight to read the analytics that key grants — impressions, product page views, downloads and related figures — so we can show them to your organisation.
Metadata is only written back to an editable App Store version when you explicitly confirm that specific change. ASOsight never submits a version for review, and it never changes anything on your behalf without that confirmation.
Your key is encrypted before storage and is never displayed again. You can remove it from Settings at any time, or revoke it in App Store Connect.
7. Acceptable use
The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short: use the service for your own market research, stay within the limits of your plan, do not resell or redistribute the data as a competing dataset, and do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
8. Your content and our content
You keep all rights to the data you connect and to anything you write in the product. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.
We keep all rights to ASOsight itself — the software, the models, the interface and the wording. Reports you generate are yours to use inside your business, including with clients.
9. Availability and change
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is kept short and, where practical, announced in advance.
Apple may change what its APIs return at any time. When that happens the product degrades honestly: it shows the intelligence it can stand behind and labels it, rather than inventing a number.
We may change features and prices. Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for, and we give at least 30 days' notice by email before a renewal at a new price.
10. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or whose payment fails and stays unpaid after we ask.
If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of your period.
11. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights that apply to you where you live.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection, you keep the rights and remedies that law gives you regardless of this clause.
