New App Store launches
Apps that appeared on the App Store recently, with how fast they are picking up ratings and what they are estimated to earn. 575 apps in the catalogue launched in the last 30 days; 2,780 in the last 90.

What the tracker shows
A table of recently released apps for one storefront and one time window, sorted so the ones actually gaining users come first. Each row shows the launch date, the category, how many ratings the app is collecting per day, an estimated download range and an estimated monthly revenue range.
Three windows are available: 30, 90 and 180 days. A window is measured from the app's release date in the storefront you selected, which is not always the same as its first release anywhere — Apple reports availability per storefront, and ASOsight stores the earliest date it has seen across all of them.
The filters, and what they are for
Developer size splits the list four ways: solo developers, small teams, studios and publishers, counted by how many apps that developer has on the store. The default view shows solo and small only, because a list dominated by publishers answers a different question than "could I build this".
Traction bands the list by ratings collected per day: emerging up to 100 a day, growing between 100 and 1,500, breakout above 1,500. This is a lens you choose, not a filter applied on your behalf — a brand-new app that explodes is a legitimate thing to study.
Apps and games are separated, because they are different markets with different economics. Category filtering sits inside the apps half; 26 App Store categories are represented in the catalogue.
How often it updates
The launch table is recomputed every six hours. New apps enter the catalogue continuously as ASOsight observes App Store search and category pages, so a given run may add apps that launched days earlier but had not yet surfaced anywhere ASOsight was looking.
This matters for how you read the list: it is a record of what ASOsight has observed, not a claim to have seen every app Apple approved. No public tool has the latter, and one that implies it is overstating what it knows.
What you can do with it
Find categories where new entrants are getting traction, which is a different signal from which categories are large. Check whether an idea you have has already shipped, and how the version that shipped is doing. Watch a competitor's new app from the day it appears rather than the month you notice it.
Every row links to a full profile with the estimate methodology, the keywords that app ranks for, and its price and rating history.
The table is public and shareable — the address carries the storefront and window, so a link reproduces exactly what you were looking at. Signed-out visitors see three full rows; every paid plan sees the complete table.
Questions people ask
How do I find new apps on the App Store?
Apple does not publish a complete feed of new releases. ASOsight builds one by observing App Store search and category pages, recording each app's release date per storefront, and listing what appeared inside a chosen window — 30, 90 or 180 days — sorted by how fast each app is gaining ratings.
How many apps launch on the App Store each month?
In ASOsight's catalogue, 575 apps have a release date inside the last 30 days and 2,780 inside the last 90. These are apps ASOsight has observed, across 49 storefronts, not a complete census of everything Apple approved.
How often is the new launches list updated?
Every six hours. Apps also enter the catalogue continuously as ASOsight observes the store, so an app can appear in the list some days after its actual release date.
Can I filter new launches by developer size?
Yes. Developers are banded into solo, small team, studio and publisher by how many apps they have published. The default view shows solo and small developers, which is the view most useful for judging whether a market is open to a new independent entrant.
What does the traction figure mean?
Traction is ratings collected per day, which is a directly observed number rather than an estimate. It bands into emerging (up to 100 a day), growing (100 to 1,500) and breakout (above 1,500). Downloads and revenue on the same row are estimates derived from it, and are always shown as ranges.
Is the new launches data free?
Partly. Anyone can open the page without an account and see three complete rows in any storefront, including the estimate ranges. Every paid plan shows the full table.
Which App Store countries are covered?
49 storefronts. You pick one at a time; the table and the address bar both carry it, so a shared link opens the same market you were looking at.
